According to Hindustan Times, Shah Rukh Khan is connected to the project and it is a special film for him as it marks Suhana’s entry into the film industry.The superstar wanted to be a part of the project in some way, which is why he will either have a cameo or he will act as a narrator for the film. The report states that the makers want to keep it a surprise and it will be a special one for him and his fans.

Earlier in the day, SRK took to Twitter to share his reaction on The Archies trailer. “A contemporary subject with timeless characters #TheArchies… thrown into a world that is very fable like. Zoya has created such an innocent and pristine quality to the film….maybe just like our world could be with a more responsible outlook towards the environment. All the best to the entire team involved with this sweet and meaningful fun film!” he wrote.
Apart from Suhana, the film also marks the acting debut of producer Boney Kapoor’s daughter Khushi Kapoor, and Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda. It also features Mihir Ahuja, Vedang Raina, Dot and Yuvraj Menda in key roles.
The Archies is produced by Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti under their production house Tiger Baby, Graphic India and Archie Comics. It is scheduled to release on December 7.
