Producer Mukesh Bhatt has categorically denied the recent rumors surrounding Tara Sutaria‘s supposed casting in Aashiqui 3, stating that it is absolute nonsense and that she isn’t even being considered. Each week, a new leading lady’s name surfaces, and it has become a tiresome and repetitive joke, added Bhatt.

Regarding the recent reports labeling Tara Sutaria as the “IT” girl for Aashiqui 3, Mukesh Bhattdismissed the claims, calling them “absolute nonsense” and emphasizing that there is no truth to the rumors.

According to him, Tara Sutaria is not even under consideration for the role. Bhatt clarified that the selection process for the leading lady will be influenced by the readiness of the film’s music, as the songs have traditionally played a crucial role in the Aashiqui franchise. Mukesh expressed bewilderment about the origin of these rumors and highlighted the importance of the film’s music in the casting decision.

He also, expressing frustration, questioned the source of the ongoing rumors and asserted his authority over the Aashiqui franchise. He made it unequivocally clear that Aashiqui is his franchise, and he will shape it according to his vision with the team of his choosing. Bhatt declared that when he is prepared to commence Aashiqui 3, Anurag Basu is welcome to direct if he is still interested; otherwise, they will consider other directors for the project.
