Speaking on it, superstar Salman Khan says, “IFFI is a very prestigious event and am happy that Farrey is being screened at it.
I have some fond memories of IFFI over the years and with Farrey making it to the esteemed panel, it feels like a full circle. I wish the entire team of Farrey the very best and hope the audience enjoys the film.”

Speaking about the film, National Award winning Director Soumendra Padhi says ‘Farrey’ is a reflection of the intricacies between ambition and morality. He said, “We’ve woven a narrative that challenges perceptions and unravels the consequences of choices made in pursuit of success. “Farrey” also holds a special place as it marks the start of Alizeh’s cinematic journey, making the IFFI experience even more memorable for her. I hope it resonates with the audience, sparking conversations and leaving a mark on viewers.”
Earlier, in an interaction with indianexpress.com, Alizeh spoke about staying away from the limelight, having no PR machinery to invite the media outside her gym or at the airport.
Alizeh is not the young girl one would expect a star kid to be like. Her choice to do Farrey as her debut is also her decision. She said that it was her personal choice to do something “unexpected” and focus on content in her first film because that’s what the audiences are looking at right now.
Explaining why she’s not comfortable being papped in her daily life, Alizeh said that she didn’t know how people look so good walking out of a gym. She wears whatever she feels comfortable in. She can be on set for hours, do photoshoots for as long as she has to, but when paparazzi comes, she doesn’t know what happens, because there is no control. Alizeh is still getting used to that and says that she is very awkward.
