‘Tiger 3’ worldwide box office collection day 1: The Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi starrer mints Rs 94 crore | Hindi Movie News – Times of India



Salman Khan‘s much awaited third instalment of his popular spy action franchise ‘Tiger’ has set the cash registers ringing at the box office on its first day at the world box office.
According to the numbers shared by the production house Yash Raj Films, the Maneesh Sharma directorial managed to collect Rs 94 crore at the world box office.

A poster shared by YRF declared that Tiger 3was ‘highest grossing Diwali day in the history of Hindi cinema’ and also ‘highest grossing overseas opening day (including paid previews) in the history of Hindi cinema’.

The film made Rs 44 crore nett in India ( Rs 52 crore gross) and $5 million ( Rs 41 crore) in international markets. Taking the gross total to ₹94 crore.

‘Tiger 3’ has reportedly become the biggest opener for Khan after the 2019 film Bharat which earned Rs 42.30 crore.
‘Tiger 3’ marks the third chapter in the high-octane Tiger series and joins the ranks of the YRF Spy Universe alongside blockbusters like ‘War’ and ‘Pathaan.’ This much-anticipated film features Emraan Hashmi in a prominent role.

Recently, in an interview when the Distribution head of YRF was asked about their decision to release the film on the occasion of Diwali, he said that they took a chance as they were confident about Salman Khan’s stardom.
