Forestella‘s Ko Woo Rim, married to the Olympic figure skating champion Kim Yuna, has officially started his military service. Ko Woo Rim, a member of the group Forestella, also known for his achievements in figure skating, shared the news on November 20.
Back in September, Ko Woo Rim and his agency, BEAT INTERACTIVE, had informed everyone that he would be undergoing basic training and serving in the military band of the Ministry of National Defense from November 20 onwards.
On the morning of November 20, Ko Woo Rim posted a photo on Forestella’s official fan cafe, revealing his new buzz cut. He captioned the post with, “D-18 months. Countdown starts.” In his message, he expressed his gratitude for the affection and love he received from fans. He shared, “A little while ago, I packed all the necessary items and headed to the training center. Reading the messages you sent, I feel so much affection and love from each one. I’m going there with a heart full of happiness.”
Ko Woo Rim assured his fans that he would energetically serve and return safely. He considered this period as a break before a lifetime together with his fans. He promised to keep everyone updated on his experiences during his military service.
Ending on a positive note, Ko Woo Rim mentioned, “Since they say I have to shave my hair again once I get there, I didn’t shave it too bald. For those who were anticipating my short haircut, I’m sending you a little sneak peek here.
