In an interview with Film Companion, Kartik shared insights into his role in the production, stating, he was not a producer-producer as such. He was given that credit on the basis that he gave up on his fee as an actor because the film was going into a money crisis. He also gave some financial aid for making the structure, so that the film doesn’t get stuck.
Kartik Aaryan STRONGLY reacts to Sara Ali Khan discussing their breakup on Karan Johar’s show: ‘I think you should respect that time.. and yourself also’
He emphasized that he was essentially acting as a producer and appreciated the graciousness of the actual producers who credited him for his involvement.
Looking ahead, Kartik Aaryan is firmly focused on his acting career, dispelling any rumors of venturing further into film production. Currently engaged in Kabir Khan’s ‘Chandu Champion,’ a biopic on Murlikant Petkar, India’s first paralympic gold medalist, Kartik remains dedicated to delivering compelling performances on the big screen.
Discussing his future projects, including Anurag Basu’s ‘Aashiqui 3,’ Kartik mentioned as of now the female lead has not been finalized.
He also provided a sneak peek into ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3,’ stating that the script has been locked. Though he will be reprising his role as Rooh Baba, the story is new and essentially more spooky this time. The shoot of the same will go on the floors in the next four months.
