Kartik Aaryan celebrates his birthdaytoday and the actor kick-started the celebrations with his pet Katori Aaryan. He cut the cake and shared a picture of himself making a wish. Kartik is indeed in a very happy space at the moment with a lot of love coming his way from his last few releases. Meanwhile, now, Kartik’s rumoured ex girlfriend Sara Ali Khan has also wished the actor. Rumours were rife that Kartik and Sara were dating for a bit. Karan Johar sort of confirmed these rumours when recently Sara and Ananya Panday were on ‘Koffee With Karan 8’ and he asked them that they both have an ex boyfriend in common. Karan had also asked Sara if it’s easy to remain friends with one’s ex, the way she’s been with Kartik. Responding to it, Sara had just said, “I don’t want to put it like that, ‘Yeah it’s easy’ because then it comes across as frivolous than it is. It isn’t always easy. When you are involved with anybody, whether it’s friends, professionally, romantically, especially if I am, I get involved and invested. It does affect you, these things. You have to rise beyond that. There actually are no permanent predicaments in this business.”
Kartik had also responded to Sara’s comments, indirectly in an interview. He had said, “It’s not good for someone to speak about the relationship. If things don’t work out… par jab aap saath hote ho kisike toh you don’t imagine it to be like that. You don’t imagine ke yeh khatam ho jayega.”
And now, on his birthday, Sara has wished Kartik. The duo continue to remain good friends, post their alleged relationship and break-up. Kartik had attended Sara’s Diwali party this year. Sara re-shared some throwback pictures in her story and wished Kartik. She wrote, “Happiest birthday Kartik.”
