Atul and Alvira Agnihotri’s daughter and Salman Khan’s niece Alizehrecently made a very impactful debut with Farrey. For her debut project, she made a very brave choice of playing a character which is exactly opposite to her, be it education wise or background wise, where she could have chosen a safe project to begin her journey. Talking about it in an exclusive interview with ETimes, she mentions, “I don’t think I really could pick and choose my first film.Farrey is something that happened organically. I just knew that the kind of films that I want to do are the films that I like to watch and Farrey was that script.There are many different ways in which a woman can be launched into the movies and my character represents just one of them, it looks different because it has not been done before but that doesn’t mean that the girl is rare. One would find many girls like my character in the world.. So it does feel like two different worlds and they are two different worlds, but I think what connected me to the characters is that we actually have a lot more in common than people would think.”

The young actress also added that she wasn’t very good at studying and felt that her teachers probably hated her. She also mentioned that two films which helped her to get into the character were Good Will Hunting and 3 Idiots! Alizeh also recalled one of the earliest memories about Katrina Kaif. She mentioned that Katrina was a part of her life when she was very young, but hasn’t got the chance to meet with the superstar actress much since the time she began her acting career. She said, “My earliest memories of Katrina was her learning Hindi and back then we did not have smartphones. I remember she was using this tiny little device with one battery, it was probably an audio player. And she had her headphones on and she was learning it from scratch by herself. She worked really hard and went beyond expectations in the way she proved herself, be it language or dance. I still think the style that she has as a dancer, she just looks so graceful and so elegant. She is genuinely one of the most hard working individuals.”
