Jagadish Pratap Bhandari gained fame after his role in the Allu Arjun-starrer ‘Pushpa: The Rise.’ The actor was allegedly arrested today over the death of a girl who killed herself last month. According to the reports from India Glitz, the police arrested the actor under IPC Section 174 (suspicious death) of the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC).
The arrest was made by the police, and reports claimed that Jagadish had taken compromising pictures with a junior woman artist and created severe emotional distress for her as he threatened to leak the photos online.In a tragic incident, the woman killed herself on November 29, and the investigation led to the alleged culprit, Jagadish. The actor will be making a court appearance today.
It was also revealed that a couple of years ago, Jagadish was in a relationship with the late junior artist, and they parted ways later to focus on their careers. Police reports claim that the ‘Pushpa’ actor constantly contacted the victim, shared private photos, and tried to emotionally blackmail her.
