Dharmendra records a gratitude video for his fans and well wishers – Times of India

The original He-Man of the Indian Film Industry , Dharmendraturned 88 on Friday. The man, who has been part of the movies since the 1960, has delivered some of the biggest hits of the industry like Sholay, Chupke Chupke, Seeta Aur Geeta, Satyakam etc. In a career span of nearly sixty years the man has never stopped working and even at this age he delivered a hit like Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.On his birthday his fans had put up hoardings and posters of his films outside his Juhu bungalow and gathered in huge numbers to wish him on his special day. Dharmendra, who is not keeping well for the past few days, did step out of his bungalow to cut a four tier cake with his fans.

The legendary actor took to Instagram on Saturday morning to thank everyone who wished him, dressed in blue t-shirt and black track pants, he was seen holding a marigold plant in his hand and also sported a turban on his head . He said, “Har jagah se, gaon se..aise pyare pyare tohfe aaye hai, yeh safa aaya..main pehen kar dekh raha hu kaisa lag raha hu ..isme pyaar hi pyaar hai ..bahut accha lagta hu ..jeete raho, khush raho ..jis tarah se aap pyaar de rahe ho ..aapko jee jaan se utna pyar de raha hoon main bhi ..love you (I have received such lovely gifts on my birthday like this plant and this safa. Look how good I’m looking while wearing it. The way you all are showering me with love, I am also reciprocating similarly. I too love you all.)
