As he prepares for the release of the Netflix series ‘Gyeongseong Creature,’ Park Seo Joon shed light on the difficulties faced by actors under this system.
Under the 52-hour workweek, Park Seo Joon highlighted the challenge of turning down project opportunities, stating, “It is difficult to refuse a project.” Explaining further, he revealed that due to the restricted working hours, it takes nearly a year to complete a single project.To cope with this, Park Seo Joon emphasized the importance of making quick decisions to respect the production team’s time. He stated, “I try to decline as quickly as possible out of consideration for the production team. It wouldn’t be polite to leave them in suspense for 2-3 weeks.”
Beyond the workweek constraints, Park Seo Joon delved into the weight associated with the term “actor.” He was quoted by alkpop, “The word actor carries more weight than the term top star. I feel uneasy about being labeled a top star.”
