Aashiqui 3: KWK 8: Aditya Roy Kapur calls Kartik Aaryan ‘perfect’ for Aashiqui 3 | – Times of India

Last year it was revealed that Kartik Aaryan would lead Aashiqui 3, directed by Anurag Basu and produced by Bhushan Kumar and Mukesh Bhatt. The Aashqui franchise was born again after the success of Aashiqui 2, which featured Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor. The film had gone on to become one of the biggest hits of the year. Aditya Roy Kapur has now shared his reaction to Kartik Aaryan carrying forward the beloved Aashiqui franchise in the latest episode of Koffee with Karan season 8.

Reacting to Karan’s question over how it feels that another actor is taking his Aashiqui franchise ahead, Aditya shared that Kartik is the perfect person for the franchise. He said “There was no chance I could be in this, because in the second part, my character went for a long swim, from which he is not returning.”
Aditya further added , “So I feel like it’s great. I died ya. Where will I come back now? My spirit will come back.” Karan added in his own bit and said , “He’ll haunt Kartik Aaryan,” to which Aditya replied, “Yeah, he’s hovering over Kartik Aaryan. He’s the villain.”
