BTS member Jungkook recently took fans behind the scenes of his self-shaving session before heading off for military service. On December 12, alongside fellow BTS member Jimin, Jungkook officially started his military journey. Following basic training, he will serve as an active-duty soldier.
Ahead of his enlistment, a touching moment was captured by Jungkook’s brother, who shared a snapshot on his personal account.The photo shows Jungkook shaving his hair with a razor in front of a mirror. Expressing love for his brother, he shared, “Seeing the enlistment news reminded me of 10 years ago, and it feels strange. Take care of yourself, and see you soon.”
In a Weverse live broadcast on the morning of December 12, Jungkook shared his thoughts before leaving for the military. He mentioned, “I will be enlisting tomorrow. This will likely be the last live before my military enlistment,” and reassured fans, “I’ll go and come back safely.” Grateful for the support, he added, “Thank you so much for supporting me until I leave. I hope you stay healthy and happy. I will miss you.”
Jungkook concluded by promising a dignified salute after completing his training. He said, “Since I haven’t entered the military yet, I can’t do the salute, but after completing training, I will greet you with a salute in a dignified manner. I love you all. I’ll come back stronger.”
