Anil Kapoor’s BTS video of getting ready for Balbir Singh’s body double’s role in ‘Animal’ goes viral

‘Animal’ has been enjoying successful runs in theaters, but it has not escaped criticism from some critics and viewers who label it as misogynistic and violent. The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) awarded the film an A certificate in November. With a runtime of three hours and 21 minutes, the movie unfolds in a world of violence, centering around the tumultuous relationship between Ranbir’s character, Ranvijay Singh, and his father Balbir Singh, portrayed by Anil Kapoor. The film’s content has sparked debates due to its portrayal of intense and potentially controversial themes.

In the film, Ranbir’s character exhibits an obsessive attachment to his father and resorts to threatening anyone who impedes his deep love for him. The movie is a joint production by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar’s T-Series, Murad Khetani’s Cine1 Studios, and Pranay Reddy Vanga’s Bhadrakali Pictures. Released in theaters, the film faced box office competition with Meghna Gulzar’s ‘Sam Bahadur.’ The intense and potentially controversial themes in the film, along with its unique storyline, contribute to its narrative and reception among audiences.
