Animal Full Movie Collection: Animal box office collection day 18: Ranbir Kapoor’s film witnesses a huge drop, to earn Rs 5.50 crore on its third Monday | – Times of India

The Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial Animal has already crossed Rs 500 crore mark at the domestic box office in its third weekend. The movie starring Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor and Triptii Dimri also soared to an impressive Rs 800 crore gross worldwide. After becoming an all-time blockbuster, Animal has now found itself on a rollercoaster ride, witnessing a huge drop in earnings on its third Monday.
According to early estimates, Animal is all set to earn Rs 5.50 crore nett on day 8 in India for all languages. Despite the unexpected setback, the movie will continue to entertain the audiences till Shah Rukh Khan and Prabhas take over the box office with their upcoming releases Dunki and Salaar on December 21 and 22.

For Animal, crossing the Rs 500 crore mark at the domestic box office and achieving a staggering Rs 800 crore gross worldwide is no small feat. The movie had opened to mixed reviews from the critics and it was being called out for showcasing misogyny and being brutally violent. However, the audience showered their love and it has reflected on the film’s box office collections.

Animal has also emerged to be Ranbir’s career biggest opener. It showcases a story about a father-son relationship. Ranbir’s character is protective and obsessive about his father. played by Anil, and is seen threatening everybody who comes in the way of his love for his father. The 3 hour-21-minute-long film was released in 5 languages – Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
