‘Safar’ unfolds a heartwarming narrative that celebrates the indomitable human spirit, focusing on the journey of Sunny Deol and a young artist navigating challenges in their lives. According to insiders, when Sunny approached Salman for a cameo, the superstar readily agreed, expressing immediate enthusiasm for the project. Scheduled for a one-day shoot in January, Salman will portray himself in ‘Safar,’ playing a pivotal role during a crucial emotional turning point in the film. The collaboration is anticipated to add a unique dimension to the storyline, with Salman Khan eagerly looking forward to working with Sunny Deol.
Produced by Vishal Rana under Enchelon Productions, ‘Safar’ is slated for a 2024 release. Once ‘Safar’ wraps up, Sunny Deol is expected to move on to other ventures, including ‘Lahore: 1947,’ an untitled project with Mythri, and an ambitious sequel to ‘Border,’ scheduled for production towards the end of 2024.
