Bobby Deol is currently basking on the super success of his latest film, ‘Animal’. He has also been receiving rave reviews for his character Abrar from all sides.
Spilling some beans on his playing such a villaneous character in the film, Bobby told Film Companion that he used to feel disgusted with himself when he started shooting for it. But then he realised he is playing a character.The actor also revealed that whoever he did what he did to in those scenes, he was sitting and having dinner with them later. Everything is normal.

Other participants in the roundtable also supported Bobby’s statement. Vikrant Massey, who co-starred with him in Shanker Raman’s romantic thriller Love Hostel last year, shared an anecdote about Bobby. According to Vikrant, Bobby’s character in the film was intense, as he was shown killing 20 people during the day. However, in the evening, they would sit together for dinner and discuss farming. Vikrant found this contrast intriguing and exclaimed, “Oh my god!”

Siddharth observed that anyone who has had the chance to meet Bobby can easily recognize the stark contrast between the characters he has portrayed on screen lately. He emphasized that to Siddharth’s generation, Bobby would always be fondly remembered as “my beautiful Bob.” Jaideep Ahlawat drew a comparison between Bobby and his elder brother Sunny Deol as well as their father Dharmendra, noting that despite playing violent roles in films, they are nowhere near those characters in real life. Reflecting on her experience working with Bobby in Abbas-Mustan’s 2001 action thriller Ajnabee, Kareena Kapoor remarked that he has “not even a bad bone” in his body.

‘Animal’ also starred Ranbir Kapoor, Anila Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna and others. The film has been doing record-breaking business at the box office.
