Kareena Kapoor Khan asserts that the concept of stardom is evolving, not just for the audience but also for actors. She believes that talent and the ability to connect with viewers through performances will naturally lead to stardom.

In a new interview with Film Companion, she said that if someone is great, talented, and people have liked them, connected with them, stardom will follow.She added that it is not like, ‘Oh he has got six-pack abs, he is looking so hot, he is a big star.’. She also highlighted that at times she wants to tell the actors to wear their T-shirt as she can’t even look at them.
Kareena Kapoor Khan pointed out the changing dynamics in the industry, noting that the landscape is different from the eras when her grandfather Raj Kapoor, uncle Rishi Kapoor, and father Randhir Kapoor were prominent figures. She emphasized that in today’s times, longevity in the industry is determined by one’s acting prowess.
Kareena was last seen in Sujoy Ghosh’s Jaane Jaan and has now tied up with Rhea Kapoor’s The Crew which is a heist comedy with Tabu and Kriti Sanon. She also has Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again and Hansal Mehta’s The Buckingham Murders in her kitty.
