Salaar reaches the 10 crore mark for its USA premiere shows | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

Anticipation is building for the release of “Salaar-Part One: Ceasefire,” directed by Prashanth Neel and featuring Prabhas. The excitement has surged even further with the recent unveiling of the second trailer on Monday, reaching unprecedented levels with the film’s USA premiere being just three days away. And with the numbers coming in, the film has reached the Rs 10 crore mark for its premiere and has the potential to become the biggest premiere day record for an Indian film in the USA.The film has amassed a total sale of $1,201,511 ( Rs 9.97 crore ) from 472 Locations where it has 1530 shows and has sold 45423 tickets till now. In comparison, the Shah Rukh Khan starrer Dunki has sold tickets worth $267100 from 447 locations, with 19500 tickets

Things have begun to heat up in India as well with advance booking for both the films opening in a major way. But the case is exactly opposite for the USA, where Dunki has 5000 more shows than Salaar. Dunki is currently selling tickets for 9665 shows compared to Salaar’s 4338 shows.
Salaar holds significant importance for both Prabhas and Prashanth Neel. For Prabhas, it marks a pivotal moment in his career, grappling with sustaining box office success post the Baahubali series. Despite strong openings, maintaining momentum has been challenging. Meanwhile, for Neel, following the massive success of the KGF franchise, the film is of pivotal importance.
Besides Prabhas, the film also stars Prithivraj, Shruti Haasan, Tinnu Anand, Jagapathi Babu, Easwari Rao and Sriya Reddy.
