Animal Full Movie Collection: Animal box office collection day 21: Ranbir Kapoor’s film suffers dent after Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki hits theatres | – Times of India

Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal has been ruling the box office since its release in theatres on December 1. Despite facing clash with Vicky Kaushal starrer Sam Bahadur, the Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial went on to break several box office records with its thunderous run. After achieving milestones, the movie has now suffered dent in its collection due to the release of Shah Rukh Khan starrer Dunki on December 21.
According to Sacnilk, Animal had an overall 19 per cent occupancy for its Hindi version, 18 percent for its Telugu version on Thursday. The movie, which also stars Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor and Triptii Dimri, has still managed to put up a descent total on board. It has collected Rs 2.50 crore, taking its total box office collection to Rs 531.34 crore in India.
Animal has already become the second highest grosser in Hindi after surpassing lifetime collections of Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 and Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan. Director Atlee’s Jawan starring SRK still holds the top position.
The film’s collection were expected to take a beating as it will now face tough competition from the Rajkumar Hirani directorial Dunki and Prabhas starrer Salaar, which will release on December 22. While Dunki has performed well in its opening day, minting Rs 30 crore on day 1, as per early estimates, Salaar will also perform exceptionally well considering its pan-India appeal. Dunki has been released only in Hindi while Salaar will release in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.

After the blockbuster success of Animal and Kabir Singh, director Sandeep Reddy Vanga and producer Bhushan Kumar on Tuesday announced their future partnership with an exciting line-up of films including Animal sequel titled Animal Park, Prabhas starrer Spirit and a film featuring Allu Arjun.

Sharing the update, a post on T-Series’ Instagram read, “It’s a partnership built on trust, fueled by creative freedom, and fortified by an unbreakable bond. Producer Bhushan Kumar and Director #SandeepReddyVanga unveil the next cinematic wonders–Prabhas’ Spirit, Animal Park, and an Allu Arjun saga–the chapters that follow the monumental success of Kabir Singh and #Animal.”

On his partnership with Bhushan Kumar, Vanga said, “The kind of freedom he (Bhushan Kumar) gives in terms of my creativity and the liberty to choose any song makes me feel at home at T-Series, and there is nothing more than that a director needs.”
