After the success of Heeriye, musician Jasleen Royal is back with another single and this time she has teamed up with young sensation Babil Khan. The song is called Dastor and in no time the song has already raked in nearly 5 million views on Youtube. The song is also being talked about for its concept, which showcases older love. The video revolves around the marriage of Jackie Shroff and Neena Gupta’s character, their younger selves were played by Babil Khan and Jasleen. They couldn’t get married because of parental pressure but their love stood the test of time.

Talking about the concept, in an exclusive interview with ETimes, Jasleen said, “ It’s beautiful that people can get married whenever they want to. The song is called Dastoor which mean customs and rituals and sometimes they can tie you down and stop you from being with your lover because of financial status or caste or religion etc. So I feel that’s what we were challenging. Love is love, love knows no age , sex or caste. And the love Jackie Sir and Neena Ma’am characters show have stood the test of time, the objections and the obstacles.

The singer- songwriter also opened up about her working experience with Babil Khan, she called it a very pleasant experience. She said, “ Working with Babil was extremely easy.He’s a very pleasant person to be around, and he’s always encouraging and would constantly give compliments to me. I remember on the last day of our shoot in Kashmir, his shots got completed at 6 and I still had a few of mine left which only got done at 10 and he waited for 4 hours just so that all of you could go back and celebrate the wrap together. He’s such a happy energy to be around, he’s very deep and wise.”
