Salaar crosses US $ 7 million mark in North America in just 6 days | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

Prabhas and Prashanth Neel’s Salaar: Part 1- Ceasefire is marching ahead at North American Box Office but is losing steam with each passing day to Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki. The year 2023 belongs to Shah Rukh Khan, he’s the only actor to deliver two Rs 1000 crore hits in the same year with Jawan and Pathaan. Something similar was expected from his third release Dunki as well but the response to the film has been very muted as compared to his two earlier films.While in India, Salaar is close to touching Rs 300 crore mark on Thursday while Dunki has touched Rs 150 crore mark on Wednesday.

Salaar had minted US $ 6.99 million by day 5 and on day 6 it added another US $ 276118 from 473 locations, taking the grand total of the film to US $ 7.26 million. While Dunki which had made about US $ 5.22 million in 6 days added another US $426,815, taking the grand total of the film to US $ 5.65 million.
Before the release of both the film, Salaar was leading the charge, where it had sold thousands of tickets in advance, while Dunki was struggling to see a respectable sale. But post the release, the scenario has changed, Salaar still leads in terms of box office revenue but Dunki is earning more than Salaar on a daily basis for the last 4 days and it still has more locations than Salaar.
Besides Prabhas, Salaar stars Prithviraj, Shruti Haasan, Sriya Reddy and Jagapathi Babu.
