This trend continued throughout their lifetimes at the box office, with ‘Don’ earning a whopping 50 crores, doubling the collections of ‘Jaan-E-Mann,’ which ended at Rs 25 crores. Farhan Akhtar’s production acumen ensured that ‘Don’ surpassed its budget of 35 crores, becoming a commercial success.
Despite the staggering box office numbers, ‘Jaan-E-Mann’ is still revered as ‘ahead of its time.’ Salman Khan’s magnificent performance in the film left a lasting impact, yet ‘Don’ remained the stylish actioner that grabbed headlines during its release.
