In an unexpected revelation, Shweta, known for her work in television, is set to join the stellar cast, which includes Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tiger Shroff, and Deepika Padukone.Shweta will portray the role of an intelligence officer in this star-studded film, adding a new dimension to the ensemble.
At the press conference, Shweta said, “Rohit sir told me that he will give me another project only if I get food on the set of Indian Police Force everyday. But without any of that, he offered his next film (laughs).”

Discussing her experience working on the original show, she expressed, “Being a part of Rohit Shetty’s cop universe is an honor in itself. I was thrilled when I received a call from his team. When they inquired if I wanted to be a part of it, I enthusiastically said yes! Even when they asked if I wanted to hear about my character first, I replied, ‘No! It’s okay, I am doing it.’ My initial encounter with sir was during Khatron Ke Khiladi. I used to be quite intimidated by him, and honestly, I still am. However, on set, he made everyone feel at ease.”
Shweta added, “When he is talking to you, you don’t know whether he’s joking or serious. If you come late, he says, ‘Tu late aayi?’ You don’t understand if he’s just asking you or reprimanding you. And then he will keep bringing it up. Even at the drop of a pencil, he would say, ‘This is happening because Shweta came late.’”
TV actors have frequently spoken out about the discrimination they encounter on film sets, emphasizing that film actors are often treated with more respect. However, such disparities were notably absent on the sets of the Indian Police Force. Shweta shared, “Rohit sir was always so jovial. In many instances, actors from the film industry can make you feel the difference if you come from TV. Yet, on this set, every actor was accorded equal respect. Working with him and his team was truly gratifying. Many actors express a reluctance to rehearse, but on this set, everyone participated in scenes with you and approached you for collaboration,” reflecting on her positive experience.
