Sidharth Malhotra in talks for two major projects: reports | Hindi Movie News – Times of India



Sidharth Malhotra is set to begin 2024 with Rohit Shetty‘s inaugural web series, “Indian Police Force,” marking his debut in the streaming domain. He plays a cop in the show, and his character will be part of the mega cop universe created by the director Rohit Shetty, which has characters like Singham, Simmba and Sooryavanshi till now. As per latest, Sidharth is in discussions with Junglee Pictures for two upcoming projects directed by Meghna Gulzar and Jeethu Joseph, who is known for “Drishyam”.

As per a Peeping Moon report, an insider shared that Sidharth and Junglee Pictures have been engaged in discussions for a few months, exploring the possibility of collaborating on two films. One will be directed by Meghna Gulzar after Sam Bahadur , and the other involves Jeethu Joseph, renowned for his highly successful Malayalam movie franchise, Drishyam. However, no official agreements have been made yet, and the talks are still in progress. Depending on the outcome of the negotiations, Sidharth might opt for one or both.
While Meghna Gulzar’s venture is rooted in a real-life narrative, Jeethu Joseph’s film revolves around a courageous, astute law enforcement officer undertaking a mission to uphold truth and deliver justice in a high-stakes international case. Both films are targeting production stages in 2024.
Sidharth also has Yodha up for release which is backed by Karan Johar and also stars Disha Patani and Raashii Khanna.
