Shah Rukh Khan has successfully delivered three blockbuster hits in 2023 with ‘Pathaan‘, ‘Jawan‘ and ‘Dunki‘. While the first two have done some record-breaking collections at the box office, ‘Dunki’ has managed to make a decent figure at the box office.
The Shah Rukh Khan starrer has collected Rs 444.44 crore gross at the global box office in 18 days. The Rajkumar Hirani film also stars Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Boman Irani, Anil Grover and Vikram Kochhar.

On Monday, the official Instagram page of Red Chillies Entertainment shared a Dunki poster featuring the caption, “A joyous journey across the globe 444.44 cr worldwide GBOC.” The post encouraged viewers to book their tickets to experience Dunki, stating, “We departed from Laltu and have successfully reached your hearts! Book your tickets right away! Watch #Dunki – In Cinemas Now!”

Shah Rukh Khan achieved a hat trick in 2023 with the success of Dunki. Following the successes of Pathaan and Jawan, the actor dominated the box office throughout the entire year. Pathaan garnered Rs 1,050.30 crore, while Jawan achieved a lifetime collection of Rs 1,148.32 crore worldwide. Dunki marks Shah Rukh’s third consecutive blockbuster in the year.

‘Dunki’ delves into the theme of immigration, drawing its title from the term “donkey journey.” This phrase alludes to the lengthy and often perilous routes people worldwide undertake to reach their desired immigration destinations. The film sheds light on the challenges and complexities associated with these journeys and the broader issue of immigration.

The Rajkumar Hirani film also stars Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Boman Irani, Vikram Kochhar and Anil Grover.
