Amid a ₩50 million lawsuit Kang Kyung Joon deletes Instagram account; His agency suspends exclusive contract talks – Times of India



Kang Kyung Joon continues to be in the spotlight, following the recent turn of events. The actor is currently surrounded by an ongoing controversy about adultery allegations. According to Koreaboo, Kang Kyung Joon was sued for 50 million won (approximately $38,131) on December 26 and soon after he was quoted by DongA Ilbo as stating that it was a misunderstanding.
Amid this controversy, it is being reported that the actor has deleted his Instagram account. While attempting to access his account, users are met with a message which states that the page is unavailable.
Following the reports, a representative from K-Star Global Entertainment was quoted by Soompi, “We attempted to verify the content of the article that was released in the morning internally within the company. However, as it pertains to the actor’s private life, it seems there is no part that the agency can provide a response to.”
It was further confirmed that the agency has not renewed their contract with the actor due to this ongoing controversy. The representative was further quoted by Soompi, “Kang Kyung Joon’s exclusive contract with us expired in October of last year. While supporting him during his activities for KBS2’s ‘The Return of Superman,’ we were in discussions about extending his exclusive contract. However, due to the recent incident, we decided to suspend discussions on the extension of his exclusive contract until the incident is resolved. We apologize for causing controversy.”
Kang Kyung Joon tied the knot with Jang Shin Young in 2018.
