
Son Ye Jin and Hyun Bin have made a generous contribution towards the welfare of kids, adolescents and single mothers, as part of their year-end donation. According to South Korean media reports, the power couple donated 150 million won ($115,000) to the Asan Medical Center and Jusarang Community Foundation.
Son Ye Jin’s agency MSteam Entertainment confirmed that the contribution to the Asan Medical Center aims to assist in covering children’s medical expenses, while the donation to the Jusarang community will be directed towards supporting programs benefiting single mothers and their children.
Speaking about their charitable initiatives, Son Ye Jin expressed via a press release, “The donation was made with the hope that it will serve as a Christmas gift, bringing warmth to the hearts of children who need a helping hand, especially during these challenging times.”
Previously, Son Ye Jin made a generous contribution of 100 million won to the Daegu Social Welfare Community Fund in 2020. The donation was intended to support medical treatment and coronavirus prevention efforts for underprivileged families.
In 2022, Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin collectively contributed 200 million won to aid individuals who lost their homes in the aftermath of a forest fire that occurred in Uljin, North Gyeongsang, and Samcheok, Gangwon.
