The Irish actor, 31, addressed reports of their split during an interview with GQ magazine, expressing admiration for Alyson as an “incredible mother” without delving further into the details of their separation. The actor, hailing from Saltburn, discussed the pressures of fatherhood and the profound impact his 15-month-old son, Brando, has had on him.

Reports initially surfaced last summer about the couple parting ways due to disagreements over late-night partying, but both were committed to prioritizing the well-being of their son. Barry and Alyson made their red carpet debut in October of that year, displaying affection for each other. Confirming their pregnancy in June 2022, they welcomed Brando in August.
