Hrithik emphasized his father’s initial hesitancy, citing Rakesh Roshan’s inclination toward working with established stars. However, as Hrithik explored opportunities and received offers, his father began to reconsider. The turning point came when Rakesh Roshan, while working on a script with other writers for a film featuring Shah Rukh Khan or Aamir Khan, felt the need for a fresh face. Eventually, he decided to cast Hrithik in “Kaho Na Pyaar Hai,” deviating from the original plan and recognizing the potential of his son in the lead role.

Hrithik Roshan’s journey from navigating the challenges of the film industry independently to securing a pivotal role in his debut film reflects the dynamics of his early career. Currently, he is gearing up for the release of “Fighter,” an action film directed by Siddharth Anand, where he will be sharing the screen with Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor, scheduled for release in 2024.
