Sivakarthikeyan has teamed up with director Ravikumar for the science fiction drama, and the film started rolling in 2019. Being titled ‘Ayalaan’ in February 2020, Sivakarthikeyan’s film took more time to produce as it faced several delays, which also included the coronavirus outbreak. However, the long-delayed project is finally ready, and the film is locked and loaded to release on January 12.
