In a recent conversation with Mashable India, Rai fondly recounted the camaraderie between him and SRK.From the moment they met, there was mutual generosity and a shared commitment to the project fueled by a profound sense of love for the craft. Rai humorously remarked about the high budget of this movie in this interview. He said SRK is a king, and he would wonder why he would spend so much money on this project. Rai would fight for the same then.
‘Zero’ featured Shah Rukh Khan portraying a vertically challenged character, and the behind-the-scenes footage revealed the meticulous effort involved. Each shot had to be filmed five times to meet the demands of the visual effects studio. Despite the challenges, Rai remembered how Shah Rukh reassured him by saying that he will do it and not stress about anything.Rai emphasized Shah Rukh’s unwavering dedication. He shared that SRK can give the same shot the same way five times. Reflecting on the arduous process, Rai contemplated suggesting changes to the character to make it less physically demanding for Shah Rukh Khan. However, Rai said that SRK takes big risks, so what he gets out of it is his own, which makes him fearless in the craft.
