In a strange incident reminiscent of Ayushmann Khurrana‘s role in “Dream Girl 2,” a man in Punjab’s Faridkot district attempted to impersonate his girlfriend during a recruitment examination. The actor, known for his impeccable cross-dressing in the comedy-drama film, reacted to the news with a single word on his Instagram stories – ‘Dreamgirl.’

The man went to extraordinary lengths to pull off the ruse, resembling his girlfriend Paramjeet Kaur by donning a complete salwar kameez ensemble, shaving off facial hair, and applying makeup. Not stopping there, he even went on to create fake Aadhaar, voter, and identity cards in Paramjeet Kaur’s name, featuring his own photo.

The comical yet audacious attempt at academic deception caught the attention of authorities who swiftly intervened. The impersonator was apprehended by the police during the recruitment exam. Ayushmann Khurrana, whose on-screen character seamlessly impersonated a female voice in “Dream Girl 2,” found the real-life incident strikingly similar to the plot of his film.
Directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, “Dream Girl 2” is the much-anticipated sequel to the 2019 hit “Dream Girl.” The film features an ensemble cast, including Ananya Panday, Paresh Rawal, Annu Kapoor, Rajpal Yadav, Vijay Raaz, Asrani, Abhishek Banerjee, Manjot Singh, and Seema Pahwa, alongside Ayushmann Khurrana.
