The actor, on Tuesday, penned a heartfelt note of love for his superwoman wife, Twinkle Khanna as she completed her Master’s degree at the University of London.
Sharing a photo from her graduation ceremony, Akki expressed his pride and admiration for his wife and her dedication and resilience throughout her academic journey.Detailing his initial scepticism when Twinkle expressed her desire to pursue further studies, Akshay confessed, “Two years ago when you told me you wanted to take up studies all over again, I wondered if you meant it.”
However, he acknowledged his error in judgment, adding, “But the day I saw you work so hard and perfectly manage a full-fledged student life along with home, career, me and kids, I knew I had married a superwoman.”
To mark the special day of her graduation, he concluded with a heartfelt note that read, “Today on your graduation, I also wish I had studied a bit more to know enough words to tell you how proud you make me, Tina. Congratulations and all my love.”
Twinkle acknowledged the sweet post by replying in her quirky and humourous style saying, “I am lucky to have a partner who encourages me to leap but is always ready to pick me if I fall. And I do fall a lot don’t I ? 23 years tomorrow!”
Akshay and Twinkle are celebrating their 23rd wedding anniversary today.
Fans quickly took to the comments section to congratulate Twinkle on her degree and to also congratulate her and her husband on their anniversary. Some couldn’t help but laud Akshay for supporting his wife’s aspirations.

On the professional front, Akshay is gearing up for a busy schedule with several upcoming movie projects. His film ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’, co-starring Tiger Shroff, is set to hit theaters during the Eid festival this year. Additionally, he recently began shooting for ‘Welcome To The Jungle’, featuring an ensemble cast including Arshad Warsi, Lara Dutta, and Sanjay Dutt.
Akshay is also slated to appear in ‘Housefull 5’, and will reprise his iconic role of Veer Sooryavanshi in Rohit Shetty‘s cop drama ‘Singham Again’.
