Renowned director Rohit Shetty, known for his blockbuster hits, is all set to venture into the realm of OTT with ‘Indian Police Force,’ led by Sidharth Malhotra, Shilpa Shetty, and Vivek Oberoi. At the same time, he has an exciting lineup of projects for which the fans are eagerly waiting.
In a conversation with Pinkvilla, Shetty shared insights into his future projects, shedding light on the continuation of the cop universe and the beloved ‘Golmaal’ franchise.

Shetty affirmed that ‘Golmaal 5‘ is on the horizon, likely to follow ‘Singham Again.’ Acknowledging the overwhelming response to the franchise, he stated he will have to make it sooner, so in the next 2 years, the fifth installment can be expected. Further, the director assured fans that the forthcoming installment would surpass its predecessors in grandeur, aligning with the evolving cinematic landscape. It has to be bigger and better, he emphasized.
In addition to the promising developments in the ‘Golmaal’ series, Shetty expressed a desire to explore new territories outside the cop and ‘Golmaal’ universe. He expressed a yearning for a script that allowed him to create a film reminiscent of the scale and success of ‘Chennai Express.’

Meanwhile, as the Indian Police Force (IPF) gears up to premiere on Amazon Prime on January 19, Rohit Shetty’s vision for the future promises a cinematic extravaganza, blending comedy and action on a grand scale.
