Sushant Singh Rajput‘s fans experienced disappointment when casting and movie director Mukesh Chhabra hinted at a sequel of the late actor’s final film, Dil Bechara. On Wednesday, Chhabra posted on his X handle (formerly Twitter), stating, “Dil Bechara 2.” Despite the lack of additional details, the cryptic post has sparked speculation about the potential development of a sequel to SSR’s movie.
In response to the announcement, numerous social media users asked the makers to refrain from creating Dil Bechara 2.They contended that the film holds significant emotional value for many and, as such, would feel incomplete without the presence of Sushant Singh Rajput.

One fan requested Chhabra to not ruin the feelings of Sushant and his fans, she wrote , “ Dil Bechara Is An Emotion!!! I Still Can Never Watch It In One Go!!! It’s A Request… Please Don’t Ruin It For Sushant n Us. SushantSinghRajput𓃵”, while another fan claimed that Sushant is irreplaceable. He wrote , “ It’s simple No Sushant No Dil Bechara, Sushant is Irreplaceable, ” and another fan claimed it would be incomplete with Sushant. He wrote, “would be incomplete without him.”

Dil Bechara hit OTT screens in July 2020, just a month following the tragic discovery of Sushant Singh Rajput’s death in his Mumbai residence. This marked Mukesh Chhabra’s directorial debut. Adapted from the English novel ‘The Fault in Our Stars,’ the film served as a remake of its Hollywood counterpart, sharing the same title. Alongside SSR, the lead role was portrayed by Sanjana Sanghi.
