Shardul was not alone, actress Esha Gupta who is known for films like Jannat 2 and Rustom, also called her out. Post her revelation, Poonam was defending her action and was part of a live conversation on Instagram, and in the comment section Esha Gupta wrote, “From a child of a cancer survivor, this is not the way to raise awareness for making people feel about your loss…this is ONLY a publicity stunt.”
