Hanu Man to touch Rs 50 crore in Hindi by this weekend | Hindi Movie News – Times of India



Prasanth Varma and Tejja Sajja’s ‘Hanu Man,’ a modern retelling of Lord Hanuman‘s tale, has surpassed box office predictions since its debut. Despite facing competition from Mahesh Babu and Trivikram’s ‘Guntur Kaaram‘ initially, ‘Hanu Man‘ gained momentum daily, fueled by positive word of mouth. Remarkably, the film continues to thrive in its third week, not just in Telugu but also in Hindi.While South films succeeding in Hindi isn’t uncommon, it’s noteworthy that a modestly budgeted film with lesser-known actors is achieving success in the Hindi market.
The film, in its first week in Hindi, minted about Rs 24.5 crore and in the second week, it added another Rs 16.55 crore , in its third week it added Rs 6.4 crore and over the last 5 days it has added another Rs 3.45 crore, taking the grand total of the film to Rs 48.9 crore, while the overall collection of the film stands at Rs 191.13 crore as per industry tracker Sacnilk. Going by the current trend, the film should reach Rs 50 crore in Hindi by the end of this week and Rs 200 crore by next week.
The film which is already in the fourth week will face some competition in the Hindi circuit with the release of Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon’s Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya which is carrying a strong buzz among the audience.
