Amitabh Bachchan made his second visit to the Ayodhya Ram temple recently, following his attendance at the temple’s inauguration on January 22.Taking to his social media handle, the veteran actor shared a picture of himself where he can be seen offering prayers. Sharing the picture, he wrote in Hindi, “Jai Shri Ram (triangular flag emoji). Aastha ne phir bulaaya, aur kheeche chale gaye hum (Faith called again, and I was drawn to go there).”
Sharing the same photo on his blog, Amitabh wrote, “A travel to the God’s again .. Ayodhya .. and back by the late evening .. sublime, serene, and filled with the reverence that divinity has ever instilled in us all ..Love and may the blessings of the Almighty be within us all.”

Dressed in a white kurta-pyjama, the actor had a saffron stole wrapped around his neck. With folded hands, he offered prayers in the temple. In another series of images, Bachchan was seen presenting jewellery at the temple as part of the celebrations for the opening of the 250th store of a jewellery brand for which he serves as the brand ambassador.
As per reports, Bachchan visited the temple on a Thursday afternoon and spent around half an hour there. Subsequently, he enjoyed a lavish lunch with officers of the Ayodhya administration at the residence of Commissioner Gaurav Dayal.

On the work front, Amitabh will be next seen in the sci-fi action thriller film Kalki 2898 AD alongside Deepika Padukone and Prabhas. The film will hit the big screens on May 9.
