The Deadpool 3 trailer we have all been waiting for, FINALLY dropped during the big Super Bowl game.
Titled ‘Deadpool & Wolverine‘, the film that arrives after nearly six years, sees Ryan Reynolds returning as Wade Wilson, aka Deadpool for his chance ‘to be a hero among heroes’ in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The trailer gives fans a hint of the film’s plot and the return of the fan-favourite Wolverine, played by Hugh Jackman, who makes his big screen return after 2017’s Logan.Just as the rumours suggested, the Time Variance Authority, last seen in ‘Loki’ Season 2, will play a major role in this Multiverse saga that sees them kidnapping Deadpool on his birthday and bringing him into the MCU.

Deadpool & Wolverine | Official Teaser | In Theaters July 26

Calling himself ‘Marvel Jesus’, Deadpool promises to ‘change’ the MCU’s ‘little cinematic universe’ forever. The trailer brings with it some R-rated jokes, bloody and gory fight scenes, and fourth-wall-breaking antics into a squeaky-clean Disney.
Although Hugh’s face as the Wolverine isn’t shown in the clip, there are two clear glimpses of him. While one sees him in a crisp white shirt seated at a table, the other gives us a peak of his yellow and blue costume.
In a surprise, the highly anticipated cameos of several other former MCU characters were left out in this clip, but glimpses of Robert Downey Jr‘s Iron Man, Chris Hemsworth’s Thor, Mark Ruffalow’s Hulk and even Chris Evans‘ Captain America make prominent appearances in the clip.
Directed by Shawn Levy, ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ is the only movie set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe to be released in theatres in 2024. It also happens to be the first MCU film to be R-rated. The film will release in theatres on July 25, 2024.
