Kristen Stewart on talking about ‘Twilight’ Romance with Robert Pattinson: It’s Weird | – Times of India

Kristen Stewart is done talking about her past romance with her ‘Twilight‘ co-star Robert Pattinson!
The actress, who is now engaged to lady love Dylan Meyer, opened up about her ‘frustration’ with her past being brought up even after a decade apart. Stewart, in an interview with RollingStone, expressed her reluctance to revisit discussions about her ex.
Candidly sharing her frustration about the constant reminder, she said, “Rob and I can’t just keep talking about that s–t, because it’s f–king weird.” She likened the persistent inquiries about their past relationship to being repeatedly questioned about high school romances.”It’s like if someone kept asking you—I mean for literally decades— ‘But senior year in high school?’ You’re like, ‘F–king A, man! I don’t know,” she said, emphasizing her desire to move forward.
While acknowledging the public’s fascination with her highly publicised romance which began on the sets of ‘Twilight’, Stewart highlighted the significant life changes both she and Pattinson have undergone since their 2013 breakup. Since their split, Stewart publicly came out as gay in a 2017 episode of Saturday Night Live and is currently engaged to Dylan Meyer. Meanwhile, Pattinson is reporteldy engaged to Suki Waterhouse, with whom he is now expecting his first child.

Stewart’s recent comments on the blockbuster vampire franchise made headlines around the world, when she remarked, “It’s such a gay movie…” In a January interview with Variety, the actress explained, “It’s all about oppression, about wanting what’s going to destroy you. That’s a very Gothic, gay inclination that I love.”
Despite the end of their romantic relationship, the former flames remain good friends. Kristen was spotted crashing Rob’s 37th birthday party last May, along with ‘Twilight’ director Catherine Hardwicke.
