Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt tied the knot in April 2022 and welcomed their first child, a baby girl in November the same year. Alia shared the news with her fans with an adorable Instagram post. Sharing a sketch of a lion and lioness with their cub, Alia wrote, “And in the best news of our lives:- Our baby is here.. and what a magical girl she is ♥️ We are officially bursting with love – blessed and obsessed PARENTS!!!!! love love love Alia and Ranbir.”
The couple also announced that they have named their baby girl Raha Kapoor. Alia also explained the meaning of the name and wrote, “Raha, in its purest form means divine path, in Swahili she is Joy, In Sanskrit, Raha is a clan, In Bangla – rest, comfort, relief, in Arabic peace, it also means happiness, freedom & bliss.”
