Expanding on her close ties with the Deol clan, Ameesha expressed, “I share a deep connection with the Deol family; whether it’s Bobby (Bobby Deol) or Dharam Ji (Dharmendra), they all hold a special place in my heart, and I cherish them dearly. Whenever I meet Dharam Ji or Sunny Ji’s mother, I always touch their feet first. That’s how much respect I have for them. So, I believe it is necessary for me to be fluent in Punjabi to interact with the Deols.”
Ameesha also revealed that although she knows how to speak Punjabi because of her Punjabi friends, she often feels hesitant to speak it in front of Sunny Deol and his family, who speak the language so fluently. She shared that Sunny Deol affectionately addresses her as “Kudiye.”
