Our source tells us that the couple will first tie the knot in the Sikh style, keeping the traditions of Rakul’s family in mind. The Sikh wedding ceremony is called Anand Karaj and in this, the couple takes pheras around the holy book of Sikhs, The Guru Granth Sahib. Rakul is one of the most popular actresses in the country, thanks to films in Southern and Hindi language. On the other hand, Jackky is one of the biggest producers in the business. However, the couple has never worked together till now, it was during the lockdown that the two of them came close. It was on Jackky’s birthday a couple of years ago that the actress confirmed their relationship, by wishing him on Instagram.
The couple were actually planning to get married in a foreign location, but after hearing the message from Prime Minister Modi, the couple changed their wedding location to Goa. The couple’s attire along with their families, has been designed by Tarun Tahiliani, and the couple is also expected to tie the knot in a Sindhi ceremony. On the other hand, Rakul is expected to return to the sets within a week of her wedding, for an undisclosed project.
