The year 2024 can easily be called the year of Ajay Devgn, who has 5 releases lined up, with the first one being Shaitaan which is releasing on March 8. And after that, it would be his long awaited film Maidaan, directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma of Badhaai Ho fame , with music composed by AR Rahman. The film has been in the pipeline for quite some time, but it is now scheduled to release on the occasion of Eid.

Our source has also informed us that the trailer of the film is also going to be attached to Ajay’s Shaitaan, which is releasing on March 8. Besides Ajay, the film also stars Priyamani, Gajraj Rao and many other young actors. On Eid, the film will be clashing with Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff’s Bade Miyan Chote Miyan- which is a spiritual sequel to 1998 hit film by the same name, which had Amitabh Bachchan and Govinda in the lead.
Maidaan retells the story of the golden era of Indian football, which spanned from the time period of 1952 to 1962. Ajay plays the role of Syed Abdul Rahim, who is considered to be the architect of Indian football.The film will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada languages.
