Aamir Khan clarifies why he danced at Anant Ambani’s pre-wedding gala and not his daughter Ira Khan’s wedding | Hindi Movie News – Times of India



Aamir Khan recently went live on Instagram from his production house’s official account and addressed a variety of questions from fans about promoting his ex-wife Kiran Rao’s directorial Laapataa Ladies. He also responded to queries regarding his recent appearance at Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani‘s son Anant Ambani and his fiance Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding celebration in Jamnagar.
During the live session, when one person asked Aamir that he danced at Anant’s wedding but not at his daughter Ira Khan‘s wedding. He explained that he indeed danced at Ira’s wedding and reiterated that he shares a close bond with the Ambani family.
“Nita, Mukesh and their kids are like family for me. Main bhi unki shaadi mein nachta hu, woh bhi meri shadi mein naachte hain (I dance at their weddings, they dance at mine),” Aamir said.
On the second day of Anant and Radhika’s pre-wedding gala, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Aamir Khan stole the show as they flawlessly executed the hook step of the popular song Naatu Naatu from SS Rajamouli’s movie RRR, starring Ram Charan and Jr NTR. The trio’s joint appearance on stage marked a rare moment for fans, as Shah Rukh, Salman, and Aamir came together after years, treating the audience to a mesmerizing and fun-filled performance.

I make movies like Laapataa Ladies, you watch that,” he replied.

In addition, Aamir urged audiences to support good cinema and newcomers in the industry, citing his own efforts with the production of Laapataa Ladies as an example. He challenged the notion that only action movies thrive in theaters, expressing hope that audiences would prove otherwise.
As he lit up a pipe during the live session, Aamir encouraged viewers to back films they enjoy, even if they lack A-list actors. He concluded the session by announcing his intention to host another live session on his birthday, March 14, and confirmed his presence on the sets of his upcoming film, Sitaare Zameen Par.
