Post the success of ‘Tiger 3‘ with Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, Emraan Hashmi is also getting a lot of accolades for his OTT venture ‘Showtime‘. The actor is feeling quite overwhelmed with all the response coming his way. The show also stars Shriya Saran, Mahima Makwana among others and is produced by Karan Johar.
Talking about the feedback, Emraan said during an interview that he’s quite overwhelmed and is flooded with DMs full of love and appreciation.He further revealed his wife’s reaction and said during a chat with IANS, “My wife has binge watched the show and feels this is one of my best performances till date. I hope people continue to enjoy the series and I can’t wait to give them more of Raghu Khanna with the next season.”
While he’s truly making a comeback in a way with all the appreciation, he also revealed that he will only stick to acting and won’t get into being a producer again. “I don’t think I am fit to be a producer. I did produce one film, but I was more of a silent producer and was playing the actor in it, so my producer self took a backseat. I am more of a creative person than a business-minded person,” said Emraan.
The ‘Murder’ actor further admitted that he’s not very good at commerce and he cannot even cross his cheques properly when he signs them. It’s a running joke in his family that he wanted to be in Arts, but ended up taking Commerce.
