However, the simplicity of family gatherings and self-decorated parties has evolved. ‘The Lunchbox’ actress exclaims, “Growing up, birthday parties were very simple, you just had a few balloons and streamers put up. I know that the kids do it very differently now, but back then, it used to be a big family, and a lot of my army friends used to come. Now for my birthday, I am mostly always traveling.”
Reminiscing about her childhood birthdays, Nimrat said, “Also, the one annoying thing as a child was that, my birthday used to fall during exams and we could not celebrate it in a big way. We used to just sit at home, and I was sulking, because I couldn’t have a party. Hence, it went from a lot of fun to a lot of annoyance, and now it’s back to being fun again.”
