In one of the videos from the event going viral on social media, Saif and Taimur can be seen exiting the venue of the match hand-in-hand. The father and son duo looked super stylish as they twinned in matching team jerseys.
During a media interaction post the match, Saif expressed how much he loved watching the league and missed Kareena, who is currently busy with her shoots. Saif said, “It feels amazing, the atmosphere was electric. When the celebrity match was being played, stadium kaafi khaali tha. But I think people are more fans of proper and good cricket rather than just celebrities, which I’m happy to see because these guys played really good cricket.”
When asked if he is missing Kareena, Saif said, “Yes, I wish she could have been here but she’s shooting up in Mahabaleshwar. So, you know, half of us are here (points at Taimur). I think India is the greatest cricketing nation in the world and my father also always said that when we organise at the grassroots level, the future will be amazing. I think the future is very bright. I was really happy to see such good cricket being played today.”
