Shoojit Sircar spills the beans on his next film starring Abhishek Bachchan – Deets inside | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

Shoojit Sircar and Abhishek Bachchan have collaborated for a film which has been wrapped up largely. Earlier, in an interview with ETimes, Abhishek Bachchan had confirmed that he’s doing Shoojit’s next. Last year, he had said that he’s going to start his film with the ‘Piku‘ director in August 2023. And now Sircar has spilled the beans on the same in an interview.

Sircar in an interview with Quint that like all his films, even this one will be a slice-of-life one.

“It’s another emotional, slice-of-life film. My stories are always related to life, and they have humor in them. I have always tried to experiment with different genres, keeping the journey of life as the main theme. I am collaborating with Abhishek Bachchan for my next film. I will take you on a mundane, ordinary man’s journey,” said Sircar.
He further added that his only intent is to reach out to audiences all over the world through his films. So, his next with Abhishek will take the audience into an ordinary man’s life and his extra-ordinary journey which will make everyone smile.
Shoojit Sircar has worked with Amitabh Bachchan in many movies like ‘Piku’, ‘Pink’ and ‘Gulabo Sitabo’, but this is the first time that he’s collaborating with Abhishek. Though, they’ve known each other for a while as they play football together.
Meanwhile, Abhishek will also be seen in Remo D’souza‘s next alongside Nora Fatehi.
